New Morning Craft meet four times a year on the second Wednesdays in February, April, October, and December. The December meeting is our Installation, this is where a new Master of the Lodge are appointed. The Master's term is normally one year where he will conduct the meetings. After the meeting he will also chair the lunch, known as a Festive Board. NML enjoy good meetings and a fine lunch including good wines.
Our aim is to have good, friendly meetings, good lunches and raise money for charity at the same time.
NML Founders

A few of our founders, sadly not all are with us today but are in the Grand Lodge above
The founders of New Morning Lodge formed the Lodge in 1987, one of the first to form a Daylight Lodge, something that was frowned on by Grand Lodge, however today many other lodges meet during the day, NML set a trend. The aim was to meet in the morning (hence the name), have a good ceremony, followed by a good lunch and then return to work.
Of course the work bit never happened, however today we still meet at 11am with lunch at midday and can still be found in the bar later in the afternoon.
The Traveling Trowel
An incentive to encourage inter lodge visiting the Travelling Trowel was introduced by our SVO W. Bro Chris Pattrick. The goal is to have as many members as possible from a lodge in the inspectorate group to visit and the lodge with the most visitors wins the Trowel until the next time its won. NML has held the trowel several times in the past and has just regained it from Profectus Lodge.

Family Day Festivals
Some pictures from recent Ladies Days. which we aim to have every year around September time. This is an open invitation to all members of the Lodge plus partners and guests. Over the years we have enjoyed days at Buckingham Palace, River trips, London Eye, etc.
Most recent was a Petanque day and lunch.
